1985 Arrow Air Crash
This page is dedicated to those who died in the crash of Arrow Air Flight 1285, a DC8, on a military charter flight from Cairo, Egypt to Fort Campbell, U.S.A that occurred on departure from Gander airport on Dec 12, 1985. At that time it was reported to be the largest airplane crash in Canada's aviation history. The 248 passengers and 8 crew onboard died. There were no survivors.
